LABOURING FOR THE HARVEST

The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. As we enter 2026, we are called to labour faithfully in God's harvest field — reaching the lost, discipling believers, and building His Kingdom.

Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.
— 1 Thessalonians 2:7b-12

In 2026, we desire that every Gladtidian will labour for the harvest as an act of obedience and love. Just as a nursing mother tenderly cares for her children and a father encourages his, we are called to share not only the gospel but our very lives with those God has placed in our path.

Our Strategic Focus

Be Ready as Farmers

Equip Ourselves to Disciple (Matthew 13:18-23)

Before a farmer sows, he prepares by learning the soil, the season and the seed. We commit this year to equipping ourselves in God’s Word, deepening our walk with Him, and growing in the knowledge and skills to disciple others well.

Be Ready to Care

Make Disciples (1 Thessalonians 2:7b-12)

Disciple-making is the patient, loving work of walking alongside another person in their journey of faith. We labour to nurture every new believer with the warmth of a parent, one relationship at a time.

Be Ready to Sow

Outreach (Mark 4:26-29)

A farmer who never scatters seed will not see a harvest. We step out in faith to share the gospel with our friends and family, our neighbourhood and in our nations, trusting that every act of outreach, however small, is a seed that God can bring to life.

Depend on God for the Increase

Prayer and Worship (1 Corinthians 3:7-9)

We plant and we water, but only God brings the growth. Prayer and worship keep us anchored in our dependence on Him, reminded that the harvest is ultimately His work. We are privileged to be His stewards and co-labourers.
