Mission

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
— Matthew 28:19–20

Overseas Missions

The earliest records of GTC’s involvement in overseas mission were in 1966 and 1967. Together with the Finnish missionaries who co-founded Glad Tidings, our Founding Pastor William Lee and his team ventured to Dungun, Malaysia to conduct evangelistic meetings.

Pastor William Lee had been burdened for missions as early as 1960, and since then, Glad Tidings Church has been involved with missions within South East Asia, China and India. Much of the missions work involves evangelistic efforts, equipping and supporting national pastors and leaders, and visitations of outreach points.

Today, GTC continues to be active in missions and has partners in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar and Cambodia.

Cambodia

Glad Tidings International School, Cambodia

Glad Tidings International School (formerly known as Hope International Primary School) was set up in April 2007 by Glad Tidings Church, Singapore in partnership with ICM Singapore. The school is located in a rural area in Kampong Speu. Our aim is to raise the educational standards of the children in that location — education is one of the ways to improve standards of living and to raise the future generation of Cambodia.
